The wind dropped in the afternoon after a crazy morning on the beach with 50 knot winds and plumes of spray everywhere. Much calmer once the wind eased though so headed out for a surf. Still some sizeable waves and they were peeling perfectly and holding up forever in the offshore winds. Some nice pitching barrelling left-handers too.

What's more, I had the whole place to myself. So many waves and a good surf session. Wearing my winter wetsuit for the first time this year though which isn't as nice as the 3/2mm that I've been in so far. Nice and toastie though!
